Gallery Soumei-do is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Yamada Momoko, titled ‘Close to the Tiny Wonders.’
Yamada Momoko primarily works with copperplate printmaking techniques, creating pieces that reflect her distinctive world. When gazing at her densely detailed works, we are drawn into the conversation of the layered elements, feeling as if we are journeying through the world that expands within Yamada herself. This sensation likely mirrors the artist’s own experience during the creative process. The more time you spend viewing her works, the more their charm deepens, as if capturing a journey of the artist's heart.
In this, her first solo exhibition at Soumei-do, we will showcase not only Yamada's richly expressive copperplate prints, but also works in other mediums, including cloisonné pieces that have appeared in her recent works. We invite you to visit and experience this fulfilling exhibition.
