雪の山中、木々の間から雄大な富士を臨む。長い冬は終わりにさしかかり、地面には既に僅かな春の訪れ。美しい朝焼けの空の下、澄み切った朝の空気も感じられる気持ちの良い1枚である。
伊藤 孝之は、大正時代から昭和時代にかけて活躍した浮世絵師、版画家。25歳で東京美術学校に入学して素明に師事、日本画を学び、在学中の大正8年から挿絵や版画の制作を行った。

In the snowy mountain, the beautiful Mt.Fuji is breathing in the back of the trees.
The long winter is finally ending, we can see some of the spring sprouting in the ground. We can also feel the crisp and clear air under the beautiful morning sky.
Ito Takashi was active as a print artist from Taisho-Era to Showa-era.
He had studied Japanese-painting under Somei at the Tokyo School of Fine Arts and started creating the print works from 1919. At that time, he was still enrolled in the university.
