浮世絵と同様に絵師、彫師、摺師の分業制をとっていた新版画と並行して、その全ての工程を作家が行う創作版画が生まれた。
本作でも、全ての制作工程を笠松自身が行っている。
笠松紫浪は清方の門人で、大正8年に渡辺版画店から新版画「青嵐」を第一作として発表、昭和16年までに数10点の木版画を制作、新版画の旗手として活躍している。昭和27年から昭和35年には芸艸堂から風景版画100点近くを発表した。
昭和30年以降は自刻自摺による創作版画の作品も制作、多くの秀作を残している。

In parallel with Shinhanga, which was based on a division of labor between the painter, engraver, and printer, the Sosaku-hanga movement occurred, in which the artist himself was responsible for the entire production process.
Also in this work, all the processes are done by Kasamatsu himself.
Shiro Kasamatsu is a pupil of Kiyokata and released a Shinhanga "Seiran" from Watanabe Print Shop as the first work in 1918. By 1945, he produced dozens of woodblock prints and was active in the front lines of Shinhanga. From 1952 to 1960, he released nearly 100 landscape prints from Unsodo.
Since 1955, he has also produced works of creative prints by self-made self-printing and has left many excellent works.
