女性歌仙の歌と当時の現代的な美人を組み合わせたシリーズ「風流女六歌仙」より。
コマ絵には清少納言の札が置かれている。札には、
「便りある 風もや吹くと 松島に 寄せて久しき 海人のはし舟」とあり、良い風が吹かぬかと松島に小舟を寄せて長いこと待っている海人のように、私もあなたからの便りをずっと待っているという内容。本絵に描かれた女性も歌のように何かを待っている様にも見える。
