不気味に立ち上がる煙の中からあたりをにらみつけるのは妖仙人、濛雲国師である。大迫力で熊に食らいつく大鷹は、彼に操られているようだ。画面左上、源為朝は弓の名手であり、伊豆に流される直前に琉球に立ち寄ったのであった。為朝はそこで妻を迎え、その子供である舜天丸は濛雲国師の邪法をくじき、舜天丸は舜天王（しゆんてんおう）となって琉球王統の始祖となったと言われている。

In the weird smoke, the old man is looking around with evil eyes. He is Mounkokushi, a magician hermit. The giant eagle looks that it is under his control. The man on the upper left is Minamoto no Tametomo who is skilled in archery. He was expelled and came to Ryukyu, the previous name of Okinawa, and took a Ryukyu woman for a wife. The child of them, named Sutemaru, broke the Mounkokushi's curse and magic and made Ryukyu peace. He also became the first king of the Ryukyu Dynasty.
