Tsukiji hotel was built in 1868 for foreign people and was the first full-scale hotel in Japan.
Since the western facilities and equipment were unusual for the almost citizen of Edo at that time, a lot of people visited there to see it. This beautiful building was sadly destroyed by fire in 1872. It happened just 4 years later since this hotel had built.
HiroshigeⅢ was a pupil of Hiroshige. His first artist name was Shigemasa, and after HiroshigeⅡ left his master, he changed his name to HiroshigeⅢ. HiroshigeⅢ had earned the reputation with the depictions of the civilization during the change from the Edo era to the Meiji era.
