Uehara Konen was a Japanese painter from the Meiji era to the early Showa era.
After studying under Kajita Hanko from 1887, he moved to the gate of Lake Matsumoto to study Japanese painting of the Yosai school, and exhibited it at the painting co-promotion event and the institute exhibition of the Japan Painting Association. He served as a councilor of the Tatsugakai and Kokuga Tamaseikai.He worked particularly hard on autographs, creating an elaborate and calm style. Shopping Guide & Information of the Japanese Prints
