美人画で名を馳せた英泉であるが、その一方で多くの風景画も手がけた。英泉と広重が天保6年ごろ完成させた「木曽街道六十九次」は、全72図のうちの24図が英泉の筆による。当初、英泉がこのシリーズの絵師を務めていたが、途中手を引き広重に引き継がれたという経緯がある。

Eisen was famous for his artworks of beautiful women, but he also created many landscapes. Eisen and Hiroshige completed "69 Stations of the Kiso Kaido" around the 6th year of Tempo, and 24 of the 72 paintings in the series were by Eisen. Eisen was originally the painter for this series, but he relinquished his position midway through the series, and Hiroshige took over.
