読本、合巻本の挿絵は多く描いているようだが、天保3年に39歳の若さで病死したために浮世絵作品はそれほど多く残されていない。

Kuniyasu was a student of Toyokuni. With Kunimaru and Kuninao, he was known as one of the "Three Crows" of Toyokuni's students, and Kuniyasu was their leading person.
Although he did many illustrations for books, he died of illness at the young age of 39 in Tempo 3, and his Ukiyo-e works are few in number.
