KunisadaⅡ changed his artist name several times.
He was one of the pupils of Kunisada (=ToyokuniⅢ) and started to use the artist name KunimasaⅡ once he married the daughter of ToyokuniⅢ. And later, he changed his name to KunisadaⅡ and gained a reputation by taking over the ToyokuniⅢ's painting style.
