Kuniteru II was a student of Toyokuni III. It is believed that he started working under the name Kunitsuna II around the Bunkyu era and changed it to Kuniteru II around the Keio era.
After becoming Kuniteru II, he designed many Kaika-e prints, most of which are railway pictures. His depictions of steam locomotives are of high documentary value, as it can be seen that he observed and depicted steam locomotives more carefully than other artists. Shopping Guide & Information
