近年、日本での人気が急上昇しつつある古邨（1877-1945）。そのずば抜けた観察眼と描写力によって描かれる花鳥画は、江戸時代の浮世絵と同じように、海外で美術的価値が高まったのちに日本でも評価されるようになった。版元によって古邨、祥邨、豊邨と三種の画号を使い分けている。
