Sadatora was a pupil of Kunisada and used the art name “五風亭(Gofutei)”.
Some of his works are signed with the phrase 'Left-handed Brush,' indicating that he was left-handed.
His active period spanned the Bunsei (1818–1830) and Tenpō (1830–1844) eras, during which he illustrated gōkan (bound illustrated novels) and created artworks featuring birds and flowers, beauties, and Kabuki actors. Shopping Guide & Information of the Japanese Prints
