本作は広重二代と豊国三代の合作である。豊国三代は豊国の門人で国貞と名乗った。天保15年豊国二代を称した。（実際には豊国三代）作画期が長く、その作品の量も膨大なものになっている。特に役者絵・美人画等の人物の描写に定評があり、当時の浮世絵界を風靡するほどの勢いと力を持っていた。

This art print was created in collaboration with Hiroshige II and Toyokuni III. Toyokuni III was a disciple of Toyokuni and initially used the name Kunisada. In the 15th year of the Tenpō era (1844), he took on the name Toyokuni II (although he is actually considered Toyokuni III). His career as an artist was long, and the number of his works was immense. He was particularly renowned for his masterful depictions of human figures, especially actors and beautiful women. His influence and power were so great that he dominated the ukiyo-e world of his time.
