This art print was created in collaboration with Hiroshige II and Toyokuni III. Toyokuni III was a disciple of Toyokuni and initially used the name Kunisada. In the 15th year of the Tenpō era (1844), he took on the name Toyokuni II (although he is actually considered Toyokuni III). His career as an artist was long, and the number of his works was immense. He was particularly renowned for his masterful depictions of human figures, especially actors and beautiful women. His influence and power were so great that he dominated the ukiyo-e world of his time. Shopping Guide & Information
