延一は明治時代に活躍した浮世絵師。武者絵や西南戦争図を描き、その後に美人画絵師として知られた周延の門人である。
日清・日露戦争をはじめとする戦争絵、美人画、風俗画のほか、博覧会や国会など近代化する日本の姿を描いた作品を多く残した。石版画や肉筆画の作品も手がけている。

Nobukazu was an ukiyo-e artist active during the Meiji period. He was a pupil of Chikanobu, who became known as a painter of beautiful women after depicting warrior prints and scenes from the Satsuma Rebellion.
Nobukazu created many works, including war prints from the Sino-Japanese and Russo-Japanese wars, portraits of beautiful women, genre scenes, as well as depictions of expositions and the National Diet, illustrating various aspects of Japan’s modernization. He also produced lithographs and hand-painted works.
