Yamataka Noboru was a printmaker active from the Showa to the Reiwa period.
While working at Shincho-Sha, Yamataka made New Year's greetings cards printed with woodblock printing, which caught the eye of the publisher, and he was given the job of illustrating a children's book.
Yamataka loved Tokyo in the Showa era and continued to produce works as if he was trying to preserve something that was disappearing with the times.
He left behind many beautiful prints and passed away in 2020. Shopping Guide & Information of the Japanese Prints
