関野準一郎は中学時代から版画誌を発行し、25歳で上京して恩地孝四郎に師事、棟方志功の教えも受けた。
木版、エッチング、リトグラフなどの技法を駆使し、風景や人物など多様な主題で60年近くにわたり制作を続け、国際的にも活躍した作家である。
